Procedures for obtaining Business Registration Certificate for Study Abroad Consulting Services

• Foreign educational organizations operating legally in Vietnam.

Providing study abroad consulting services including:

• Introducing and consulting information on educational policies of countries and territories; Consulting on choosing schools, courses, occupations, and qualifications suitable to the learner's abilities and aspirations;
• Organizing advertising, conferences, seminars, fairs, and exhibitions on studying abroad in accordance with law;
• Organizing to enroll students in a school to study abroad;
• Organizing necessary skills training for Vietnamese citizens studying abroad;
• Organizing sending Vietnamese citizens abroad to study, take parents or guardians to visit training places abroad in accordance with law;
• Other activities related to study abroad consulting service business.

Conditions for providing study abroad consulting services:

• Is a legally established organization; is an enterprise registered to conduct business in the field of study abroad consulting services;
• Regarding headquarters: must have a stable headquarters location;
• Regarding facilities and equipment: must ensure to serve the study abroad consulting service business (with enough tables, chairs, computers, office machinery, etc.);
• The team of staff directly consulting on studying abroad must:
  • Obtain a university degree or higher;
  • Can use at least one foreign language at level 4 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework used for Vietnam and equivalent;
  • Obtain a certificate of professional training in study abroad consulting in accordance with law.
