Register for promotional activities

Sales promotion is a trade promotion activity of traders to promote the purchase and sale of goods and provision of services by giving customers certain benefits.

Traders carry out administrative procedures to register promotional activities at the Department of Industry and Trade (if carried out in a province or central cities), the Ministry of Industry and Trade (if carried out in two provinces or central cities or more), before carrying out promotional programs in the following forms:

• Selling goods or  providing services with participation in promotional programs of chance;
• Other forms of promotion.

Within 45 days from the date of expiry of the prize awarding period of a promotion program in the above forms, the trader carrying out the promotion program shall send a written report to the competent state management authority (where registered and confirmed) on the results of the promotion program.

Traders carrying out promotion program of chance shall pay 50% of the announced prize value into the state budget in case there is no winner.

• Consulting Valued Customers on legal issues related to registration of promotional activities;
• Guiding Valued Customers to prepare necessary documents and records; Check the legality and validity of documents provided by Valued Customers;
• Preparing documents in accordance with the law;
• Representing Valued Customers to submit documents and work with competent authorities;
• Following up documents and explain as requested by competent authorities (if any);
• Representing Valued Customers to receive results.
